AACHEN (GERMANY), January 30, 2020 – Emerson (NYSE: EMR) is launching in Europe one of the most popular mobile applications for HVACR professionals. The Copeland™ Mobile app provides service technicians with on-the-go access to Emerson’s database of product information for Copeland™ compressors. The users now have direct access to (service) compressors for air conditioning, heating and refrigeration applications on their mobile phones.
“With over 6 million compressors installed in Europe, this tool will offer installers a tremendous efficiency improvement and time saving as it shows the correct service products within a few clicks only.” says Dieter Vansteenkiste, Director Wholesale Sales and Lifecycle Management at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions Europe. “Currently, users have access to around 3,000 models of Copeland compressors, directly linked to our Select Online Software database. The app helps find cross reference service replacements for the searched compressors models and gives access to a large network of official wholesalers from where to buy, across Europe.”
The Copeland Mobile app is easy to use and only requires a one-time log in with a predefined username. New users can register using an email address and by filling in basic information. The search function allows users to find a compressor model either by scanning the barcode of the compressor nameplate or by typing in the model name. Once the model is selected, users can choose from a variety of options to find the specific information they need for the selected product.
