Emerson Launches the New Safety Pressure Control CS1 Series

AACHEN (GERMANY), June 4, 2020 – Emerson (NYSE: EMR) extends its range of refrigeration controls with the new CS1 series of high pressure safety controls. The new CS1 range offers a unique feature in the refrigeration market, thanks to its maximum operating pressure of 70 bar, and its adjustable pressure setpoint, suitable for high pressure refrigerants like R410A, or CO2 in subcritical applications.

This new range meets the highest requirements for safety and environmental impact, by being compliant with EN12263 and EN378. CS1 pressure control acts as a protection device for the compressors in situations when the pressure in the system exceeds the limits.

New CS1 series are available in automatic reset versions and are standard equipped with single pole double throw contacts for safety function and alarm/status reporting. Alco pressure controls ensure proven efficiency and reliability which are key values at the core of every Alco Controls product development, allowing the most optimized system performance.
